Fig. 56 Removing The #6 Vacuum Hose From The Throttle Controller:

1. Start engine and run until the cooling fan comes on.
2. Connect tachometer to engine.
3. With engine still running remove #6 vacuum hose from the throttle controller.

Expected result:
M/T 2200 ± 500 rpm
A/T 1900 ± 500 rpm

4. If engine speed is not as desired, bend throttle controller tab to adjust.
