The CRANK sensor determines timing for ignition and fuel injection. The CRANK pulses are also used to determine engine rpm. The TDC sensor determines ignition during the start-up (cranking) procedure or when the crank signal is abnormal. The CYL sensor detects the position of No.1 cylinder for sequential fuel injection to each cylinder.
