A/T Idle Control Solenoid Valve

Idle Boost Throttle Controller:

1. Disconnect vacuum line #21 from idle boost throttle controller and install a vacuum gauge.
2. Start engine and run until cooling fan comes on. Check vacuum gauge.

Expected result:
No vacuum. If desired results were not achieved, refer to testing procedures outlined in COMPUTERIZED ENGINE CONTROLS.

3. Stop engine, disconnect two wire connector to the TA sensor in the air cleaner.
4. Start engine and check gauge.

Expected result:
Engine vacuum. If desired results were not achieved, refer to testing procedures outlined in COMPUTERIZED ENGINE CONTROLS.
