1987 Paint Codes (Supersedes 86-026, dated OCT 24, '86)



Paint formulations are determined by each paint company. For questions regarding formulas or matching, refer to your local paint distributor or the paint company's nearest regional office.

(1) A clear coat is sprayed over the color coat.
(2) A clear coat is sprayed over the color coat on Accords and Preludes only.
(3) A small amount of color is mixed with a clear coat and sprayed over the color coat. NOTE:
^ Original paint is acrylic enamel.
^ Honda Paint Codes which include "M" are metallic colors.
^ The lower section of the DX and HF CRX is painted with NH-92M (Gothic Gray).
^ The bumper of the Prelude (except Si) is painted with NH83M (Urban Gray).
