Fuel Gauge Sender: Service and Repair

WARNING: Don't smoke or allow open flames in work area or around open fuel systems. Drain fuel into a suitable container.

Removal

1. Be sure ignition switch is OFF.
2. Drain and remove tank. Refer to Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Tank/Service and Repair.

Fuel Gauge Sending Unit:

3. Remove sending unit.
4. Reverse steps to refit sending unit.
5. Check for leaks.
