Inspection Procedure

1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist and remove the left rear wheel.

2. Examine the fuel filler pipe. Inspect the coating and the upper mounting flange.





^ The original pipe has a smooth, shiny black plastic coating. If you find an original fuel filler pipe, go to CORRECTIVE ACTION A or B.

^ The improved pipe has a rough dull black coating. If you find an improved fuel filler pipe, go to step 3 of the COMPLETION PROCEDURE.
