Fig. 7 Measuring float level:

1. Remove carburetors, then remove the float chambers.
2. Measure float level with float tip lightly contacting the float valve and carburetor float chamber surface inclined about 30° from vertical, Fig. 7.
3. Adjust float level to .6 inch (16 mm).
