Frequency Solenoid Valve B

1. Disconnect wiring harness from frequency solenoid valve B.
2. Disconnect hoses from frequency solenoid valve B, then connect vacuum gauge to upper port of valve and vacuum pump/gauge to lower port of valve and apply vacuum to valve. Valve should hold vacuum.
3. If vacuum is not held, replace frequency solenoid valve B.
4. If vacuum is held, connect battery positive terminal to green/black terminal of valve and battery negative terminal to black terminal, then apply vacuum through lower port and check vacuum at upper port.
5. If vacuum is not available, replace frequency solenoid valve B.
6. If vacuum is available, disconnect battery and check vacuum at upper port.
7. If vacuum is still available, replace frequency solenoid valve B.
