Frequency Solenoid Valve A

1. Disconnect wiring harness from frequency solenoid valve A.
2. Disconnect lower vacuum hose from valve and connect vacuum pump/gauge to valve.
3. Apply vacuum to valve. Vacuum should hold.
4. If vacuum does not hold, replace frequency solenoid valve A and repeat test.
5. If vacuum holds, connect battery positive terminal to green/black terminal of valve and negative battery terminal to black terminal. Valve should not hold vacuum.
6. If vacuum is held, replace frequency solenoid valve.
