Choke Opener
1. Disconnect upper hose from choke opener and tee in vacuum pump between hose and choke opener.
2. Start engine and check for vacuum.
3. With coolant temperature above 59°F, there should be vacuum and with coolant F, there should be vacuum and with coolant temperature below 59°F, there should be no vacuum.
4. If vacuum is not as specified, check for blocked or pinched vacuum hoses and, if hoses are satisfactory, replace thermovalve A and repeat test.
