The paint codes for 1985 are listed on the back of this page. Original paint is acrylic enamel except on CRX plastic panels. Paint on CRX plastic panels is acrylic urethane. All colors except Greek white and Baltic blue have clear coat over the color coat.
None of the paint listed for CRX colors meets Honda standards for impact resistance and flexibility when applied to HP Alloy panels. However, paint that does meet Honda standards is available under the Sunfire 421 label(acrylic urethane) from Sherwin-Williams Automotive Branches listed below. You can call director order through your local Sherwin-Williams supplier.
