O. Torque Converter Housing

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

- Tools Required:
- J 26941 Countershaft Bearing and Drive Axle Seal Remover
- J 2619-01 Slide Hammer





1. Three bolts and three fluid pipe clamps from torque converter housing.





2. Two fluid pipes from torque converter housing.





3. One bolt and countershaft front roller bearing retainer from torque converter housing.





4. Countershaft front roller bearing from torque converter housing using a J 26941 with a J 2619-01.





5. Countershaft lubrication seal from countershaft front roller bearing bore.
6. Right drive axle shaft fluid seal from torque converter housing using a J 26941 with a J 2619-01.





7. Right differential side bearing race and selective shim from torque converter housing using a J 26941 with a J 2619-01.

Clean
- Sealant from torque converter housing-to-transaxle case mating surfaces.
