G. 1ST-Reverse Brake Piston

INSTALL OR CONNECT

- Tools Required:
- J 36850 Transjel Transmission Assembly Lubricant
- J 23327 Clutch Spring Compressor
- J 35683 First and Reverse Brake Piston Compressor

1. Apply J 36850 to the two new 1st-reverse brake piston seals.





2. 1st-reverse brake piston into transaxle case with the cup side facing upward.





3. 1st-reverse brake piston return spring into transaxle case.





4. The J 23327 with a J 35683 and compress the 1st-reverse brake piston return spring until the 1st-reverse brake piston return spring snap ring can be installed.
5. 1st-reverse brake piston return spring snap ring into transaxle case.
6. Remove the J 23327 and the J 35683 from the transaxle case.
