Part Throttle Downshift

At vehicle speeds of 64 to 88 km/h (40 to 55 mph), quickly press the accelerator pedal to approximately half throttle and verify that the transaxle downshifts immediately to second gear. If transaxle fails to downshift, Throttle Valve (TV) cable adjustment may be necessary. Refer to TRANSAXLE ON-VEHICLE SERVICE.
