REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

Replacement of Intermediate Shaft Front Bearing

- Tools Required:
- J 22912-01 Bearing Puller
- J 35565 Intermediate Shaft Bearing Installer.





1. Intermediate shaft front bearing. Using split plate J 22912-01 bearing puller, press out the bearing.





INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Intermediate shaft front bearing. Using J 35565 intermediate shaft bearing installer, press in a new bearing.


REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

Replacement of Intermediate Shaft Rear Bearing

- Tools Required:
- J 22912-01 Bearing Puller
- J 35378 Bearing Pulling Pilot





1. Intermediate shaft rear bearing, using a J 22912-01 bearing puller and a J 35378 bearing puller pilot.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

- Tool Required
- J 35565 Intermediate Shaft Bearing Installer





1. Intermediate shaft rear bearing using a J 35565 intermediate shaft bearing installer.





2. Check that the distance from the gear flange end to the intermediate shaft end is about 115.8 mm (4.559 inch).
