Radiator Cooling Fan Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

FAN THERMOSTAT SWITCH

RH Rear Of Engine:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Drain engine coolant from radiator. Drain only enough coolant so that the coolant level is below the Fan thermostat switch.
2. Fan thermostat switch electrical connector.
3. Unscrew fan thermostat switch counterclockwise and remove from the thermostat housing.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Screw the fan thermostat switch clockwise into the thermostat housing. Tighten fan thermostat switch to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).
2. Fan thermostat switch connector.
3. Fill radiator with engine coolant.
