Special Tools Caution

CAUTION; In order to avoid deploying the air bag when troubleshooting the SRS, use only the equipment specified and the instructions given. Failure to use the specified equipment as instructed could cause air bag deployment, personal injury to you or someone else, or unnecessary SRS repairs.

You should be familiar with the tools listed under Special Tools. You should be able to measure voltage, resistance and current. You should be familiar with the proper use of the following tools:
