Fuel Pump Relay: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the center console.
3. Disconnect the circuit opening relay electrical connector (1).
4. Remove one bolt.
5. Remove the circuit opening from I/P bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the circuit opening relay to I/P bracket.
2. Secure the bracket with one bolt.
TIGHTEN
- Circuit opening relay bolt to 10 Nm (89 lb. in.).
3. Connect the circuit opening relay electrical connector.
4. Install the center console.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
TIGHTEN
- Negative (-) battery cable-to-negative (-) battery cable terminal retainer to 15 Nm (11 lb. ft.).
