Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S 2) Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the carpet retainer from carpet retaining bracket (on passenger side).
3. Pull back the carpet from along the console floor area.
4. Remove the heater duct from under seat.
5. Disconnect the HO2S 2 electrical connector. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
6. Remove the HO2S 2 from vehicle.


INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the HO2S 2 to vehicle.
TIGHTEN
^ Heated Oxygen Sensor 2 to 41 Nm (30 lb. ft.).


NOTE: Lower the vehicle.

2. Connect the HO2S 2 electrical connector.
3. Install the heater duct to air vent under seat.
4. Install the carpet to the carpet retaining bracket by inserting carpet retainer into bracket.
