Manual Gear Range Selection

MANUAL THIRD
1. With the vehicle stopped, place the manual selector in Drive (D) range. Slowly accelerate vehicle and verify:
- Transaxle upshifts from 1st to 2nd gear.
- Transaxle upshifts from 2nd to 3rd gear.

MANUAL SECOND (2)
1. With the vehicle stopped, place the manual selector in Second (2) range. Slowly accelerate vehicle and verify transaxle upshifts from 1st to 2nd gear.
2. Accelerate to 40 km/h (25 mph) and verify transaxle does not upshift from 2nd to 3rd gear.

MANUAL LOW (L)
1. With the vehicle stopped, place the manual selector in Low (L) range. Slowly accelerate vehicle and verify transaxle does not upshift from 1st to 2nd gear.

REVERSE (R)
1. With the vehicle stopped, place the manual selector in Reverse (R) range. Slowly accelerate vehicle and verify vehicle operates in a rearward direction.
