Data Link Connector

The Data Link Connector (DLC) is located under the instrument panel to the right of the steering column. The DLC is used for accessing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). This is accomplished by connecting a scan tool to the DLC connector. Refer to the Powertrain On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) System Check in Driveability and Emissions for procedures on retrieving DTCs.
