Battery Carrier and Retainer Bracket

Battery, Cables, Carrier And Retainer Bracket:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative (-) battery cable from negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Positive (+) battery cable from positive (+) battery terminal.
3. One bolt and battery hold down bracket from battery carrier.
4. Battery from vehicle.
5. Three bolts from carrier.
6. Carrier from vehicle.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Carrier into vehicle.
2. Three bolts into carrier.
3. Battery into vehicle; position into carrier.
4. Battery hold down bracket; secure with one bolt
Tighten
^ Battery hold down bracket nuts to 8 N.m (71 lb. in.).
5. Positive (+) battery cable to positive (+) battery terminal.
Tighten
^ Positive battery cable-to-battery terminal to 55 N.m (48.68 lb. ft).
6. Negative (-) battery cable to negative (-) battery terminal.
Tighten
^ Negative battery cable-to-battery terminal to 5.5 N.m (48.68 lb. ft).
