Rear

Important: Wheel speed sensor is serviceable only as an assembly. Do not attempt to service the sensor harness pigtail.

Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative (-) battery cable.





2. Rear seatback.
3. Wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
4. Raise and suitably support vehicle.

Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Pigtail Harness Grommet:

5. Pull wheel speed sensor pigtail harness out through body; removing grommet.

Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Pigtail Harness:

6. Three bolts retaining wheel speed sensor pigtail harness to vehicle.

Rear Wheel Speed Sensor:

7. One bolt and wheel speed sensor from suspension knuckle.

Install or Connect
1. Wheel speed sensor to suspension knuckle; secure with one bolt.

6 Tighten Rear wheel speed sensor bolt to 7.8 Nm (69 inch lbs.).

2. Wheel speed sensor pigtail harness to vehicle; secure with three bolts.

Tighten Rear wheel speed sensor pigtail harness bolts to 5.4 Nm (48 inch lbs.).

3. Reposition wheel speed sensor pigtail harness through body, installing grommet.
4. Lower vehicle.
5. Wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
6. Rear seatback.
7. Negative (-) battery cable.
