Turn Signal Relay: Service and Repair

The Turn signal/hazard relay is located on the top of the junction block inside the instrument panel's left side.

Remove or Disconnect
1. Disable the SIR. Refer to Disabling the SIR.
2. Negative (-) battery cable.
3. Two plastic retainers and left side kick trim panel.
4. One bolt and drop junction block.
5. Turn signal/hazard relay by pushing side tabs and pulling it straight out

Install or Connect
1. Turn signal/hazard relay by pushing firmly into its receptacle.
2. Junction block, secure with one bolt.

Tighten
^ Junction block bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb.in.)

3. Left side kick trim panel, secure with two plastic retainers.
4. Negative (-) battery cable.
5. Enable the SIR. Refer to Enabling the SIR.
