Front Toe Adjustment
NOTE:^ Install alignment equipment following equipment manufacturer's instructions. Measure alignment angles and record the readings.
^ Jounce front and rear bumpers three times to normalize suspension prior to measuring angles.
^ If caster angles are not within the specified range, inspect for damaged suspension and steering components and replace parts as necessary.
Adjust the Following:
1. Toe by changing tie rod length.
2. Loosen boot clamps (small end) and slide off of boot.
3. Apply a small amount of grease between tie rods and boot contact points to prevent boots from becoming twisted.
4. Loosen right and left tie rod end locknuts, then turn right and left tie rods and set front total toe to 0 to 0.32 degrees.
^ In this adjustment, right and left tie rods must be equal in length ("A").
^ After adjustment, reinstall boot clamps.
^ Tighten the tie rod end locknuts to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).
NOTE: Make sure that the rack boots are not twisted.
