Flash-to-Pass

With the lighting system in either the OFF, parking lamps or low beam headlamp setting, pulling the lever rearward will cause the high beam headlamps to illuminate. Releasing the lever (allowing it to return to the center position) returns the system to the previous setting (OFF, parking lamps or low beam headlamps). This Flash-to-Pass feature allows the driver to signal the driver of another vehicle his intention to pass.
