Daytime Running Lamp Resistor: Service and Repair

DRL Resistor:

DRL Resistor Mounting Nuts Location:

Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative (-) battery cable.
2. Raise and suitable support vehicle.
3. Six screws and five plastic clips securing left-side wheelhousing.
4. Left-side wheelhousing from fender
5. Disconnect DRL resistor electrical connector.
6. Lower vehicle.
7. Three screws and remove fuse box from its mounting bracket.
8. Two nuts and DRL resistor from vehicle.

Install or Connect
1. DRL resistor to vehicle; secure with two nuts.
2. Fuse box to fuse box mounting bracket, secure with three screws.
3. Raise and suitable support vehicle.
4. DRL electrical connector.
5. Wheelhousing to fender; secure with six screws and five plastic clips.
6. Lower vehicle.
7. Negative (-) battery cable.
