Receiver/Dryer Outlet Pipe


Remove or Disconnect

1. Discharge and recover refrigerant. Refer to Discharging, Adding Oil, Evacuating and Charging the Refrigeration System.
2. Negative (-) battery cable.
3. Two electrical leads, one bolt and horn from vehicle.
4. Left-side condenser mount from condenser (one screw) and radiator core support (one bolt).
5. Pipe from receiver/dryer outlet fitting.
6. Pipe fitting in front of condenser fan, disconnecting evaporator inlet pipe from receiver/dryer outlet pipe.
7. Receiver/dryer outlet pipe from condenser fan retaining clip and pipe from vehicle.

Install or Connect

1. Position receiver/dryer outlet pipe behind radiator core support brace; secure with condenser fan retaining clip.
2. Pipe fining in front of condenser fan, connecting evaporator inlet pipe to receiver/dryer outlet pipe.
3. Pipe to receiver/dryer outlet fitting.
4. Left-side condenser mount to condenser (one screws) and radiator core support (one bolt).
5. Two electrical leads, one bolt and horn to radiator core support.
6. Negative (-) battery cable.
7. Evacuate and recharge air conditioning system. Refer to Discharging, Adding Oil, Evacuating and Charging the Refrigeration System.
8. Operate A/C system and check for refrigerant leaks. Refer to Refrigerant Leak Testing.
