The belt-driven water pump is a centrifugal type consisting of an impeller, drive shaft and drive belt pulley. The water pump is mounted on the front of the transverse-mounted engine, and shares its drive belt with the generator. The impeller is supported by a completely sealed bearing. The water pump is serviced as an assembly and therefore, cannot be disassembled.
