Cylinder Head Assembly: Description and Operation

The cylinder head is made of cast aluminum alloy and has three combustion chambers arranged in-line. The SOHC is driven by the crankshaft through the timing belt. It has six cam lobes and operates the intake and exhaust valves directly through the Hydraulic Valve Lash (HVL) adjuster.
