Hood Latch: Service and Repair

Remove or Disconnect
1. Open hood.
2. Slide out hood latch release cable sideways to release from hood latch assembly.
3. Six screws, five plastic clips and left-side wheelhousing.
4. Two screws and pull hood latch release lever with cable from instrument panel.

Install or Connect
1. Run hood release cable through instrument panel, through cowl. inner fender, to hood latch assembly.
2. Cable to hood latch assembly.
3. Hood latch release lever to Knee bolster; secure with two screws.
4. Left front wheelhousing secure with six screws and five plastic clips.
