Remove or Disconnect
FUEL INJECTORS AND FUEL RAIL REPLACEMENTREMOVE OR DISCONNECT
Relieve fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Release/Service and Repair. Service and Repair
1. Accelerator cable and cruise control cable (If equipped) from Air Cleaner (ACL) assembly clip.
2. Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector.
^ Loosen the Air Cleaner (ACL) hose clamp bolt on throttle body.
3. Four cap clips from ACL.
4. EGR solenoid vacuum valve electrical connector.
5. EGR hoses from EGR valve.
6. One vacuum hose from fuel pressure regulator.
7. One clamp and Positive Crankcase Ventilation ([1][2]PCV) hose from PCV valve.
8. One clamp and [1][2]PCV hose from cylinder head cover.
9. Two nuts, three Allen head screws, air intake chamber cover and throttle body assembly and reposition air intake chamber cover and throttle body assembly aside.
10. Air intake chamber cover gasket.
11. Fuel injector electrical connectors.
12. One bolt and fuel feed inlet hose from fuel rail.
13. One clamp and fuel return hose from fuel
pressure regulator.
14. Two bolts and injectors with fuel rail from vehicle.
15. Four insulators and two spacers from the intake manifold.
16. Four injectors from the fuel rail.
17. O-rings and grommet from each injector.
18. Two bolts and fuel pressure regulator from the fuel rail.
