Fluid Pump Assembly

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

^ Tools Required:
- J 6125-B Slide Hammers (Two Required)
- J 35495 Fluid Pump Puller Adapters (Two Required)

1. Six fluid pump body bolts.





2. Thread a J 35495 and J 6125-B into both sides of the pump body, one on either side directly across from each other, and gently tap outwards on both sides at the same time with both slide hammers until the fluid pump is free of the transaxle case. Use caution not to drop the input shaft bearing and/or race which may sometimes adhere to the rear of the pump.

Inspect
- Fluid pump cover seal rings.
- Fluid pump cover seal for cuts or damage.
- Input shaft fluid seal for cuts or damage.
