Without Enhanced Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Control

Tank Pressure Control Valve:

WARNING: Do not suck air through the Tank Pressure Control Valve tubes/hoses. The Fuel vapor inside the Tank Pressure Control Valve is harmful.

PROCEDURE
1. Connect a length of hose to the BLACK side of the Tank Pressure Control Valve.
2. Air should pass through valve smoothly from fuel tank side (BLACK side) to the ORANGE side when blown hard.
3. Remove the hose from the BLACK side and connect it to the ORANGE side of the Tank Pressure Control Valve.
4. From the ORANGE side, even when blown softly, air should come out of the BLACK side.

- If the Tank Pressure Control valve does not pass the above test, replace the Tank Pressure Control Valve.
