Preliminary Checks

Refer to System Diagnosis, for complete system check.

Fig. 39 Windshield Wiper Connections:

1. Use 12 volt battery, connect positive terminal to ``Park'' terminal on motor, and negative terminal to wiper motor body.
2. Operate wiper motor at high speed.
3. Check whether motor shaft stops at a given position.

NOTE: This position must conform to the start position.

4. Repeat step 2 to confirm that shaft stops at the same position.
