Accessing and Reading Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Current DTCs can be read by using "Flash Code" diagnostics or by using the TK00000 TECH 1 modular diagnostic system. The presence of history DTCs can be determined by using "Flash Code" diagnostics; however, the specific history DTC numbers must be read and cleared by using TECH 1 diagnostics.
