Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove exhaust manifold heat shield or insulator.
3. Raise and support vehicle.
4. Disconnect front exhaust pipe.
5. On except GSi models, remove exhaust manifold support bracket.
6. On all models, lower vehicle.
7. On except GSi models, disconnect oxygen sensor.
8. On all models, remove exhaust manifold attaching bolts then exhaust manifold.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
