Neutral Safety Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect neutral safety switch electrical connector.
2. Connect a digital multimeter, J34029-A, or equivalent, to neutral safety switch terminals 1 and 2, then test continuity with switch in ``P'' and ``N'' position.
3. Ensure continuity between terminals 3 and 4 with switch in ``R'' position.
4. If results are not as indicated, replace neutral safety switch.
