High CO and HC at High RPM

This condition indicates abnormally high Carbon Monoxide and Hydrocarbons during cruise (2500 rpm).

POSSIBLE CAUSE ACTION

Electrical misfires Refer to
IGNITION SYSTEM.

Vacuum leak Check intake manifold gaskets and refer to
VACUUM AND VAPOR HOSE ROUTING.

Faulty canister purge system To check EVP system proceed to
EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM.
