Checking Fluid Level
Check transaxle fluid level every 7,500 miles, adding Dexron II automatic transmission fluid as necessary.
Change transaxle fluid and filter every 30,000 miles under normal driving conditions, or every 15,000 miles if vehicle is operated under severe conditions such as city driving during hot weather or driving over hilly or mountainous terrain.
1. Park vehicle on level ground.
2. Start engine and operate for 15 minutes to allow fluid to reach operating temperature.
3. Move gear selector through all gear positions, then to park.
4. Remove and check fluid level on dipstick, add Dexron II as necessary. Do not over fill.
