Motor Electronics Cooler
1. Drain the Motor Electronics Cooling System (MECS). For additional information, refer to Motor Electronics Cooling System Draining and Filling Procedures.
2. Remove the 4 bolts and the 2 retainers and position the front grille aside far enough to gain access to the MECS (Motor Electronics Cooling System) radiator.
3. Remove the bolt and remove the upper MECS (Motor Electronics Cooling System) radiator tube from the MECS (Motor Electronics Cooling System) cooler.
- To install, tighten to 15 Nm (133 lb-in).
4. Remove the radiator splash shield.
1. Remove the 6 screws.
2. Remove the 4 retainers.
5. Compress the constant tension clamp and disconnect the MECS (Motor Electronics Cooling System) radiator hose from the MECS (Motor Electronics Cooling System) radiator.
6. Remove the MECS (Motor Electronics Cooling System) radiator bolts and remove the radiator.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
