Coolant Pump and Pulley









Removal and Installation

1. Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding.

2. Drain the Supercharger (SC) cooling system. For additional information, refer to Supercharger Cooling Supercharger Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding.

3. Disconnect the upper intake manifold-to-degas bottle hose, remove the 2 bolts and position the degas bottle aside.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).

4. Disconnect the Charge Air Cooler (CAC)-to-SC degas bottle hose, remove the bolt and position the SC degas bottle aside.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).

5. Loosen the 4 coolant pump pulley bolts.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

6. Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to Accessory Drive Service and Repair.

7. Rotate the SC belt tensioner clockwise and remove the SC belt off the SC.





8. Remove the 4 coolant pump pulley bolts and the coolant pump pulley.

9. Release the clamp and disconnect the lower radiator hose from the coolant pump.

10. Remove the 4 bolts and the coolant pump.
- Discard the coolant pump O-ring seal.

- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Install a new coolant pump O-ring seal and lubricate with clean engine coolant.

12. Fill and bleed the cooling system. For additional information, refer to Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding.

13. Fill and bleed the SC cooling system. For additional information, refer to Supercharger Cooling Supercharger Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding.
