Oil Level Indicator and Tube

Removal

NOTICE: During engine repair procedures, cleanliness is extremely important. Any foreign material, including any material created while cleaning gasket surfaces, that enters the oil passages, coolant passages or the oil pan, can cause engine failure.

1. Remove the LH valve cover. For additional information, refer to Valve Cover - LH Valve Cover - LH.

2. Depress the 4 tabs and remove the oil level indicator tube.





Installation

1. Install the oil level indicator tube.
- Push the oil level indicator tube into the valve cover until it clicks into place.

2. Install the LH valve cover. For additional information, refer to Valve Cover - LH Valve Cover - LH.
