IGNITION KEY WARNING CHIME CONTINUES AFTER
KEY REMOVED -BUILT ON OR BEFORE 11/24/2010

FORD:
2011 Fiesta

ISSUE
Some 2011 Fiesta vehicles, built on or before 11/24/2010, may exhibit a concern in which the ignition key warning chime continues after the key is removed.

ACTION
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Replace the ignition lock cylinder to fix. Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 501-14.

NOTE
SUSPECT PARTS HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM SERVICE STOCK. REPLACE WITH EXISTING SERVICE STOCK TO FIX.
