POTENTIAL NUMBER OF UNITS AFFECTED: 243

SUMMARY:
Certain model year 2010 Mustang Shelby GT 500 vehicles manufactured between October 28 and December 3, 2009, fail to conform to the tire loading and information requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 110, "Tire Selection and Rims." The rear tire size information is incorrect.

CONSEQUENCE:
The manufacturer has not yet provided the agency with a description of the consequence as it relates to motor vehicle safety.

REMEDY:
Ford will mail owners the correct tire label along with instructions of where and how to affix the label. The safety campaign is expected to begin on or about February 8, 2010. Owners may contact Ford Motor Company customer relationship center at 1-866-436-7332.
