Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Solenoid









Removal and Installation

1. WARNING: Before servicing a vehicle equipped with a fire suppression system, depower the system by following the procedure in Vehicle Jacking and Lifting. Failure to follow the instructions may result in serious personal injury.

Remove the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister assembly. For additional information, refer to Evaporative Emission Canister Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the 2 vapor tubes and remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid.

3. WARNING: If the vehicle is equipped with a fire suppression system, repower the system. For important safety warnings and procedures, refer to Vehicle Jacking and Lifting. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious personal injury.

To install, reverse the removal procedure. If equipped with a fire suppression system, repower the system.
