PINPOINT TEST C: INCORRECT TACHOMETER INDICATION

Normal Operation
Engine rpm data is provided to the instrument cluster by the powertrain control module (PCM) through the communication network.

DTC U2196 - sets after 2 seconds or longer, when the instrument cluster receives an invalid CAN message from the PCM for engine RPM. The tachometer will return to zero.
