Removal and Installation

4-door, 5-door and wagon

NOTE: To aid installation, the safety belt height adjuster should be at the lowest position.

1. Remove the lower safety belt anchor bolt and position the safety belt aside.
- To install, tighten to 38 Nm (28 lb-ft).

3-door

NOTE: To aid installation, the safety belt height adjuster should be at the lowest position.

2. Remove the lower safety belt anchor bolt and position the safety belt anchor aside.
- To install, tighten to 38 Nm (28 lb-ft).

All vehicles







3. If equipped, remove the pin-type retainer and the B-pillar trim panel.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
