Exploded View

Removal
1. Remove the front bumper cover.
2. Remove the headlamp assembly.
3. On the RH side, remove the windshield washer reservoir.
4. Remove the fender splash shield.
5. Remove the fender insulator.
6. Remove the lower inner fender bolt.
7. Remove the rocker panel fender bolt.
8. Open the front door half way and remove the upper inner fender bolt.







9. Remove the front fender bolt.
10. Remove the 3 upper fender bolts and the fender.

Installation

1. NOTE: The vehicle must be standing on level ground. The door must be fully closed with uniform clearances with the A-pillar, the rear side door and the body rocker panel.

Position the fender and loosely install all the fender bolts finger tight.

2. Tighten the rear upper fender bolt.
- Tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).







3. Tighten the front fender bolt on the edge of the fender apron panel.
- Tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

4. Close the hood carefully and adjust the clearance between the hood and the fender.
5. Open the hood and tighten the front upper fender bolt.
- Tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

6. Adjust the fender-to-door alignment and tighten the lower inner fender bolt.
- Tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

7. Adjust the width of the clearance with the door and tighten the rocker panel fender bolt.
- Tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

8. Check the clearances and tighten the remaining upper fender bolt.
- Tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

9. Open the door half way and tighten the upper inner fender bolt.
- Tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

10. Install the fender insulator.
11. Install the headlamp assembly.
12. On the RH side, install the windshield washer reservoir.
13. Adjust the hood bump stop rubbers.
14. Install the fender splash shield.
15. Install the front bumper cover.
