Normal Operation
The steering wheel controls receive reference voltage from the audio unit through circuit 8-MD26 (WH/BK). When a button is pressed, a specific signal voltage is sent back to the audio unit through circuit 9-MD26 (BN/YE). The audio unit then uses this voltage signal to determine which control input function has been selected

Possible Causes
- Circuit 8-MD26 (WH/BK) open, short to ground or voltage
- Circuit 9-MD26 (BN/YE) open, short to ground or voltage
- Steering wheel controls
- Audio unit.
